Introduction

As part of a whole-of-business transformation, LeavePlus is seeking a highly experienced Business Readiness Test Lead to oversee the end-to-end testing of our new operating model. This role is critical in validating that all scheme componentsβ€”systems, processes, stakeholder interactions, and compliance frameworksβ€”are fully functional, integrated, and ready for service.

You will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business readiness testing strategy that goes beyond digital solution testing, ensuring that the scheme operates as designed and meets its legislative, operational, and member-facing obligations.



Description

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain a holistic business readiness test strategy covering end-to-end workflows, scheme compliance, operational readiness, and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead the execution of complex test scenarios across systems, processes, communications, and stakeholder interfaces.
  • Validate scheme components including manual processes, escalations, decision-making pathways, and compliance checks.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate defect triage in partnership with the Digital Quality & Reliability Lead.
  • Provide clear reporting on scheme readiness, residual risks, and quality metrics to leadership and governance forums.
  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, test cases, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Compliance Officers, and Operations to ensure full coverage of business scenarios.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and quality advocate across the transformation program.


Skills And Experiences

About You

You are a strategic and analytical leader with a strong understanding of regulated environments and complex business processes. You bring:

  • Proven experience leading business readiness and process testing in large-scale transformation programs.
  • Deep knowledge of compliance and legislative testing requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to translate scheme rules and business processes into testable scenarios.
  • Experience in operational readiness testing and UAT coordination.
  • Excellent communication and reporting capabilities.

Desirable:

  • Experience in government, statutory authority, or regulated industry contexts.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PSPF, ISM, ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of data validation and reconciliation practices.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in software or business testing, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
