Job description:
- Responsible for the recruitment and supervision of all academic staff to fulfil the successful running of the business
- Responsible for the implementation of all academic activities at the company including events, and community engagement
- Responsible for preparation of the campus for external and internal audits
- Dealing with student academic issues such as year planners, challenges, and student support
- Compiling the analysis of pass rates and through put as a key criteria
- Procurement activities such as Purchase order requests, requisitions, recons etc.
- Conducting fire drills and Health and Safety checks and audits
- Conducting disciplinary hearings for students that have violated the Campus Code of Conduct
- Managing all aspects of the academic portfolio and deliverables (Training/Lectures/Marketing/Sales and events)
- Performing quality checks on teaching and learning processes and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Audits need to be done quarterly to ensure quality standards of the client are being met
- Monitoring assessments and student at risk interventions
- Project Management of Qualifications through to the point of Graduation
- Liaise with different regulatory bodies such as various SETAβs, QCTO and DHET
- Assisting other Departments such as the Sales and Accounts Department when required
- Responsible for the overall day to day running of the business
- Managing blended learning on campus and ensuring that the company is in line with world class standards
- Monitoring and tracking staff and students access and usage on the student portal, and content availability for students.
- Ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning at the company
- Ensure rollover and retention ratios for the campus are attained, and design corrective action plans to address non compliance
- Ensure the campus is profitable and expenses are managed effectively
- Your duties are not limited to the above and adhoc duties may be required from time to time
