Ciklum is seeking an Expert Automation QA Engineer to spearhead quality strategy and technical excellence within our LATAM division. As an Expert QA Engineer, you are not just a contributor; you are the architect of quality. You will define the automation roadmap, design scalable testing infrastructures, and serve as a technical beacon for cross-functional teams. Your mission is to ensure code reliability at scale, promoting advanced engineering standards and driving the evolution of our testing ecosystem. 

You will support an American Tier-1 partner dominating the global arts and entertainment ticketing industry. This project involves high-transactional environments and massive scale, where your architectural decisions directly impact millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities: 

• Quality Strategy & Governance: Partner with Product Owners and Architecture leads to embed "Quality by Design" across the SDLC, driving Shift-Left and Shift-Right methodologies
• Framework Architecture: Architect, implement, and optimize sophisticated automation frameworks that ensure high stability and rapid feedback loop
• Systemic Risk Mitigation: Lead complex regression strategies and root-cause analysis for high-priority defects to ensure seamless global operations
• Technical Mentorship & Excellence: Set the bar for engineering best practices, mentoring Senior and Junior engineers to elevate the overall technical maturity of the QA organization
• Process Innovation: Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to streamline testing efficiency and product reliability

Requirements:

• Advanced Automation Mastery: Expert-level command of testing ecosystems and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Puppeteer, Gatling)

• Software Design Patterns: Deep expertise in Page Object Model (POM) and other architectural patterns applied to scalable test automation

• Polyglot Engineering: High proficiency in multiple programming languages, specifically Java, Python, and JavaScript

• Infrastructure & CI/CD: Proven experience architecting CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated quality gates into DevOps workflows

• Cloud Native Testing: Extensive experience operating and validating distributed systems within AWS Cloud environments

• AI-Augmented Engineering: Hands-on experience leveraging AI development tools (specifically Claude Code) to revolutionize test generation and code analysis

• Strategic Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate technical vision to both developers and executives
