Finance Domain QA Lead

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Finance Domain QA Lead to drive quality assurance and validation efforts for finance-focused applications, data platforms, and AI-driven solutions. This role will combine deep finance domain expertise with modern QA practices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reliability across systems built on AWS, Azure, Tableau, Power BI, and DealCloud CRM.

This individual will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for financial data validation, ensuring that AI models, reporting outputs, and system integrations align with real-world financial processes and business rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy and execution for finance-related applications, data pipelines, and AI-driven solutions
  
• Act as the finance domain expert, validating outputs across areas such as:
  • Financial reporting
    
  • Investment data and portfolio analytics
    
  • Revenue, P&L, and forecasting models
    
• Validate data accuracy and integrity across ETL/ELT pipelines and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  
• Ensure alignment between system outputs and financial business rules, calculations, and controls
  
• Oversee functional, regression, and integration testing across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  
• Validate integrations with DealCloud CRM and other financial data sources
  
• Define and implement test cases and validation frameworks specific to finance workflows
  
• Collaborate with data engineers, AI teams, and business stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy in AI models and analytics
  
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data discrepancies, calculation errors, and compliance gaps
  
• Support UAT efforts and work closely with business users for validation and sign-off
  
• Mentor QA team members on finance-specific validation practices
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in QA, Testing, or Quality Engineering, with a strong focus on finance-related systems
  
• Strong domain expertise in finance, such as:
  • Investment management
    
  • Financial reporting and analytics
    
  • Revenue cycle, accounting, or portfolio management
    
• Experience validating financial data, calculations, and reporting outputs
  
• Strong experience with SQL and data validation techniques
  
• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data platforms
  
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
  
• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  
• Experience leading QA efforts or mentoring team members
