Infrastructure Test Manager

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Test Manager to lead quality assurance activities across infrastructure and technology transformation programmes. The successful candidate will combine strong test management expertise with a modern quality engineering mindset, ensuring solutions are delivered in accordance with approved requirements, technical standards, and business expectations.

• Define and own test strategies, plans, scope, entry criteria, and exit criteria.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities across infrastructure and technology deployment programmes.
• Drive quality governance, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, pilot testing, business validation testing, and production rollout activities.
• Manage defect logging, prioritisation, tracking, and resolution with delivery teams.
• Review and approve test evidence, test results, and deployment readiness assessments.
• Facilitate testing milestone sign-off and production deployment approvals.
• Define and maintain deployment runbooks, validation procedures, operational handover documentation, and rollback plans.
• Verify operational readiness, including monitoring, support processes, and service transition activities.
• Produce quality status reports and provide recommendations for go/no-go decisions.
• Drive automation-first and quality engineering practices where appropriate.

• Proven Test Management experience across large-scale infrastructure and technology transformation programmes.
• Experience managing testing for infrastructure, end-user computing, network, cloud, platform, workplace technology, or migration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of modern quality engineering principles, including test automation, shift-left testing, and engineering-led quality practices.
• Experience defining test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality gates.
• Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, pilot deployments, and production rollouts.
• Strong defect management, risk management, and quality governance experience.
• Experience developing deployment validation, rollback, and operational readiness plans.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering testing across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
