Junior QA Engineer

The customer is a Swiss company specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with deep expertise in mechanical engineering and contract manufacturing. The product designed by Leobit is a SaaS web platform for fast and efficient creation of offers and query processing in a very narrow area, including the field of 3D modeling. The program's main functionality includes viewing models, estimating costs, and facilitating fast and transparent communication. This solution is also driving digital transformation in the administrative area. It connects CNC turnkey contracts, industrial 3D printers, and buyers.

Job Purpose

As a Junior Software QA Engineer at Leobit company, you must be capable of performing Black-box testing of Web and Mobile platforms. You must have a keen eye for detail, critical thinking, and high organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate high result orientation and responsibility for own work.

Location: Lviv

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and validate requirements (specifications, acceptance criteria, etc.)
  • Create Test Documentation (test design, test scenarios, test cases, UI checklists, etc.).
  • Prepare Test Data
  • Perform Functional/non-functional testing of product increments
  • Prepare and execute SQL scripts
  • Update baseline documentation following requirements changes
  • Create bug reports and document deviations from the expected results with screenshots and videos
  • Provide regular Test Status updates to stakeholders
  • Work with Project and Test Management Tools

Requirements:

  • One year of working experience in testing web/mobile applications (at least)
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum)
  • Understanding the purpose of Software Quality
  • Understanding QA's role in cross-functional Agile teams
  • Knowledge of Fundamental Test Process Phases
  • Knowledge of Testing Types and Techniques (understanding Embedded testing will be a plus)
  • Knowledge of Test Documentation types/purpose
  • Technical skills in documenting and troubleshooting defects
  • Familiarity with test case/ project management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps)
  • Strong self-organization skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or in β€œSTEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
  • Level of English: Upper-intermediate or higher
