Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review specifications and create detailed test plans covering core functionality, edge cases, and regressions
  • Execute manual test cases across staging and testing environments to validate feature performance
  • Perform functional and exploratory testing to simulate realโ€‘world usage scenarios
  • Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with clear steps, logs, and screenshots
  • Support regression testing processes to ensure stable releases
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA specialists to improve testing coverage and quality
  • Validate system behaviour across different client configurations and environments
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Education: A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous
  • Experience:
    • Experience testing web applications with complex business rules
    • 0โ€“2 yearsโ€™ experience in QA, software testing, or a related role is advantageous
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong manual testing capability with a methodical and detailโ€‘driven approach
    • Ability to write clear and structured bug reports and test cases
    • Familiarity with GitHub, staging environments, and webโ€‘based admin tools
  • Advantageous:
    • Exposure to SaaS or multiโ€‘tenant platforms
    • Basic knowledge of testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, or Cypress
    • Understanding of APIs, logs, or debugging tools
    • Exposure to financial, payroll, or HR systems
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Strong analytical and problemโ€‘solving skills
    • Curiosity and a proactive mindset
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Strong attention to detail and quality
