Responsibilities
- Define and drive the approach for validation and release of product Test Packages, including ongoing maintenance and optimization.
- Oversee the creation of Test Engineering work products, such as Test Specifications and structured Test Packages graded for applications like sample creation and volume production.
- Lead the analysis and troubleshooting of complex test results, collaborating closely with test hardware and module owners to identify and resolve root-cause issues.
- Initiate projects focused on enhancing product quality, achieving Test Time Reduction, improving Test Yield, and supporting custom requirements for new market opportunities.
- Strategically coordinate with Project Managers, Test Concept Engineers, and Test Pattern Suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality Test Package delivery within project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field with 7+ years of progressive experience in Product/Test Engineering within the semiconductor industry.
- Deep expertise in semiconductor process technology, with proven ability to correlate Fab Parametric Test data to Yield; solid command of DOE/SPC principles and process/design/test integration.
- Comprehensive understanding of the IC Lifecycle across design, test validation, wafer processing, production test, quality assurance, and yield; prior experience with Automotive SoC microcontrollers is highly valued.
- Hands-on operational experience with ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest 93K), strong UNIX/Linux skills, and advanced proficiency in C++, Java, and Python for test automation and large-scale data analysis tooling.
- Demonstrated contributions to First-Silicon Debug, substantial Yield Improvement, and successful Ramp to Full Production.
- Strong analytical, data-driven problem-solving skills; effective communication and stakeholder management; proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural teams including experience in technical people development.
