Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Manual QA Analyst (Financial Systems) position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be onsite in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What Youβll Be Doing:
- Support the bank's Debit Modernization project by executing comprehensive QA testing for ATM software and hardware systems.
- Conduct hands-on testing in a dedicated ATM lab environment, preparing for key conversions and system upgrades.
- Assist with the preparation of test plans and contribute to impact assessments.
- Design detailed test cases and condition test data to validate functional requirements.
- Execute manual functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests.
- Log, track, and document software defects following standard defect management procedures.
- Analyze test cases to identify opportunities for automation or regression coverage.
- Ensure QA best practices and procedures are consistently followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to less experienced QA personnel.
- Escalate potential risk-related issues to management and support internal risk and compliance processes.
What Youβll Need to Have:
- A combined minimum of 4 years higher education and/or work experience, with at least 1 year of application testing experience.
- Test Case Design & Execution experience.
- Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience.
- Defect Identification, Logging, and Tracking experience.
- Familiarity with Agile software development framework.
- Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge.
- Pertinent web service testing application experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment under aggressive timelines.
Pay Range:Β $31-$41/hr
