Middle Manual QA Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Middle Manual QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. 

The Client is a global leader in the online comparison market. Their mission is to simplify decision- making and match customers with valuable brands. Their Fintech Business Unit focuses on the lending, mortgage, consumer finance and insurance verticals,  working closely with market leaders to send high-value customers at scale. Their vision is to become “Expedia.com for your money” - creating a marketplace for broad range of financial products and services.

Their technology helps millions of consumers around the world make smarter, more confident buying decisions. They do so by creating trusted comparison websites that enable consumers to easily compare products and services online and form high-value relationships with the brands they choose. Their partner brands, some of which are among the most prominent websites worldwide, utilize the platform to maximize their online presence.

Responsibilities:

• Write and execute test plans under varying circumstances
• Track defects and help troubleshoot errors
• Maintain or add automation tests to validate all users’ funnels, data integrity, system performance, and alerts on broken flows
• Work closely with development teams, product and business colleagues
• Create dashboards to provide transparency on the production state, use tools to identify issues, and lead their investigation
• Use data to learn about our users behavior, patterns, most/least used features, etc., and make data-driven decisions

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in testing web systems
• Experience with monitoring tools
• Experience with automation projects and automation tools
• Understanding of agile/scrum methodology
• Being able to work independently and make proactive decisions and projects
• Demonstrating creative and analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - a must

Desirable: 

• Basic knowledge of JS (or other programming languages) 
• Testim.io knowledge
