The role

The Quality Assurance Analyst has the overall responsibility of the implementation of Magnum Ice

Cream specifications, standards and Quality Management System (QMS) for quality assurance and

controls in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements. This key Quality role ensures that

systems are in place to comply with local regulatory requirements and drives site Quality

improvement activities to ensure product, consumer safety & overall quality and addresses consumer / customer issues.

What you'll be responsible for

β€’ Quality Management system coordination of HACCP program in line with requirements of

HPC420

β€’ Communicates matters related to food safety, such as but not limited to regulatory

requirements, preventive actions and non-conformances to immediate superior

β€’ Cascades existing and revised work instructions, support documents and forms related to

Quality Assurance

β€’ Verifies incoming materials and finished products and ensures compliance with approved

specifications, issues reports to QA Supervisor, provides recommendations as necessary

β€’ Checks and reviews the availability of process control system for traceability from material

preparation to work in process to finished goods

β€’ Monitors production performance, issues statistical reports, investigates deviations and

reports to Immediate Superior, submits recommendations if necessary

β€’ Verifies material, product and process compliance to approved specifications and

documented SOPs.

β€’ Conducts physico-chemical, sensory and microbiological evaluation based on specified test

methods and SOPs.

β€’ Coordination and implementation of Category GMP requirements in factory, verification of

compliance of site operations to HPC420 and QV through a program of internal quality audits

β€’ Coordination, implementation and documentation of quality system in line with HPC420 and

Global QMS guidelines

β€’ Supports efforts to complete and maintain external audits and certifications

β€’ Participates in Quality Pillar activities for WCM, Supports data collection, analysis and

assignment to standard Quality loss trees in support of operational KPIs reporting

β€’ Supports efforts to verify and document the traceability of materials, packaging and

products, Incidents Coordination of global incident management (product recall procedure)

We're looking for someone who

  • Is a graduate of the following Bachelor’s degree programs: Microbiology, Food Technology, Biotech, Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, BS Biology, BS BioChem
  • Has experience in quality assurance and can operate confidently with food and beverage manufacturing
  • Brings strong skills in problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Thinks end-to-end and takes ownerships for results
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organisation
  • Values collaboration, clarity and low-ego ways of working
