Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established QA methodologies, processes, and organizational quality standards.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide QA effort estimates during sprint planning and release planning activities.
  • Analyze and identify ambiguities, gaps, and risks in requirements and collaborate with stakeholders for clarification.
  • Design and develop comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute manual and/or automated test cases across multiple test environments.
  • Identify, log, track, and manage defects using test and defect management tools such as JIRA.
  • Apply various testing techniques including functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple testing efforts in parallel.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and actively participate in implementing quality improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, documentation standards, and delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and standards.
  • Proven experience testing within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Expertise in test scenario creation, test case development, and execution.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Strong skills in test effort estimation and workload planning.
  • Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand system architecture and data flows.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and work across multiple environments simultaneously.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale applications or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-integrated testing practices.
