Join Team Red Dog in supporting a leading cloud and software provider as we seek a highly skilled QA Analyst - Test Associate to contribute to cutting-edge Azure File Sync initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work to work remotely (PST hours) on hybrid cloud technologies, software testing, and enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions while partnering with one of the most innovative technology environments in the world.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Strong software testing background (10+ years) with hands-on experience executing test plans, scenarios, and defect tracking in enterprise environments.
  2. Deep experience with Azure and Windows Server technologies, including testing hybrid cloud services and deployments.
  3. Scripting experience (10+ years) in any language to support automation, validation, and testing workflows.
  4. Experience creating and maintaining test documentation including test plans, scripts, and reporting.

Opportunity Overview:

This role offers the opportunity to work on Azure File Sync, a critical hybrid cloud service that enables seamless synchronization between on-premises Windows servers and Azure File Shares. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, validating real-world customer scenarios, and contributing to deployments within a highly collaborative and technically advanced team environment.

How you will make an impact:

β€’ Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures across multiple environments
β€’ Test system modifications and validate readiness for production implementation
β€’ Develop testing programs covering database impacts, usability, and software scenarios
β€’ Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems
β€’ Analyze system behavior, outputs, and performance issues
β€’ Monitor bug resolution efforts and ensure successful remediation
β€’ Maintain databases of known defects and testing results
β€’ Collaborate in daily scrum meetings and track progress against defined plans
β€’ Support deployments and customer scenarios related to Azure File Sync

The expertise you bring:

β€’ Associate’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
β€’ 10+ years of professional experience in software testing
β€’ Strong experience with Azure and Windows Server environments
β€’ Proven ability to create test plans, scripts, and detailed documentation
β€’ Experience analyzing test results and providing actionable recommendations
β€’ Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
