Intervention Workforce Solutions Ltd is engaged by a Global Consultancy client to identify a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join a fast-paced Identity Governance programme. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring product quality across Saviynt and other IGA platforms through a combination of manual and automated testing, workflow validation, and regression coverage.
You will be embedded in a collaborative engineering and product environment, contributing to test automation strategies, defect management, and ongoing QA improvement initiatives.
Conduct manual and automation testing for web-based identity governance applications
Lead test automation efforts using Selenium WebDriver, Hybrid frameworks, and Cucumber
Automate REST API testing for Saviynt and related systems
Write robust and dynamic XPath expressions to support scalable test scripts
Automate regression suites and data validation across Excel, CSV, and MySQL DB sources
Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and definition of done documentation
Participate in test strategy and execution planning for multiple product releases and sprint cycles
Identify, log, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and quality risks
Engage with development teams for workflow configuration, customisation, and verification
Collaborate with product development teams on workflow design based on functional requirements
Participate in regular project status meetings, highlighting QA risks, test coverage, and defect trends
Apply deep understanding of SDLC, test lifecycle, and bug lifecycle to improve overall QA processes
Deliver high-quality QA coverage across functional, regression, and acceptance testing
3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Testing and QA Automation
Practical experience testing Identity Governance platforms (Saviynt, Okta, Ping)
Strong skills in Selenium WebDriver, test framework development (Hybrid, Cucumber)
Experience in REST API automation (Postman, REST Assured or similar)
Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and defect management tools
Ability to create reusable and scalable automated test scripts
Proven experience working with MySQL databases, data-driven testing, and file-based validation
Excellent documentation skills and experience preparing test artefacts
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in sprint-based environments
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a cross-functional QA team
Experience with CI/CD tools for automation execution
Exposure to test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
Experience in identity workflows, entitlement testing, or access policy validations
Understanding of compliance and security implications in QA for IAM systems
