About the Role

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong PHP/Laravel experience to help us deliver high-quality, stable software at speed. 

You’ll be part of a focused development team, building out both automated and manual tests, improving test coverage, and making sure our platform is release-ready every time.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on finding edge cases, enjoys improving testing frameworks, and understands how great QA underpins faster delivery and happier customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Test Automation: Extend and maintain automated test suites for backend, frontend, APIs, and job queues.
• Manual Testing: Define and execute manual test plans where automation isn’t feasible.
• CI/CD Integration: Strengthen our pipelines with reliable test coverage and quality gates.
• Problem Solving: Write and debug automation scripts to reduce false positives and improve reliability.
• Data Handling: Use test data to simulate real-world scenarios and validate database interactions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and DevOps to ensure smooth, dependable releases.
• Best Practices: Help shape testing standards, share knowledge, and mentor less experienced QA team members.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with automation testing in PHP/Laravel environments.
• Good grounding in manual testing approaches for backend and frontend.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
• Confident with database testing and test data design.
• Strong communicator who can document clearly and work cross-functionally.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, Agile environments.
