We are looking for a QA Engineer whose primary focus will be automated backend testing of API services, with occasional manual testing when needed. In this role, you will work on developing and maintaining automated tests, validating backend functionality, and collaborating closely with the development team to ensure high software quality.
What weβre looking for:
2+ years of professional experience
Understanding of REST concepts (HTTP, clientβserver communication, status codes such as 200/300/400/500)
Knowledge of SOAP concepts
Experience with test automation - Java, (Groovy and Spock are a plus)
Experience with Postman and SOAP UI for manual API testing
Basic knowledge of Linux commands (cd, mkdir, grep, etc.)
Experience with Git (push, pull, merge, branch)
Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with database tools such as Dbeaver or DataGrip
Ability to read UML sequence diagrams
Experience using AI tools in programming workflows
Team-oriented, proactive, and communicative, with a good command of English
