What is the role?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing test scenarios based on the test plans for various projects, as well as preparing and reporting test results in the required formats.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Enhancing and optimizing test processes based on outputs from the development team.
• Planning, designing, and maintaining manual and automated test scenarios for web and API-based applications.
• Developing, executing, and maintaining UI automation tests using Playwright.
• Periodically reporting and documenting test execution results, including defect reports and quality metrics.
• Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Conducting tests in client environments when required.
• Following the guidance of the team leader or senior specialists while actively contributing ideas and improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or Test Specialist in product, project, or software development environments.
• Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies, test case design, and execution.
• Hands-on experience in UI test automation with Playwright.
• Solid knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (REST Assured, Postman, Newman).
• Good understanding of software testing principles, defect lifecycle, and SDLC/STLC processes.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Curious, eager to learn, and willing to share knowledge with the team.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD integration for test automation.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
