QA Engineer

Description

Scylla is seeking a talented and motivated QA Engineer professional to join our team.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in API and integration testing
• Experience in DevOps will be highly preferred
• Proven track record in understanding an enterprise’s APIs and processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, work with the engineering team on integration and architecture.
• Comfortable with Agile Software Development and Git Flow
• Able to handle and cope with stressful situations and understands the pressures of a start-up environment
• Hands-on experience with Postman, JMeter
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing an API’s life cycle and being involved in the integration, implementing and testing API’s
• Create API documentation
• Developing test cutting-edge applications and products at the user level and code level
• Be able to understand the software internals, debug issues, and write automated tests with scripting and automation tools
• Be individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance
• Assist in implementing and maintaining a Continuous Integration Solution
• Contribute to and/or own the development of high-quality test automation.
• You will ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.
• You will participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans.
• You will promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.
