About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our collaborative software development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web-based applications running on hardware devices. Familiarity with ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript is helpful, along with knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and integrate them with the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create test plans and cases for web-based applications on hardware devices.
  • Design and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks; review manual test cases for automation suitability.
  • Perform regression and exploratory testing, maintain test environments and data, and report defects clearly.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and infrastructure, leveraging platform engineering knowledge where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7years of Relevant experience in QA automation for web-based applications.
  • Over all 9-12 years of Experience
  • Practical experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, TestNG) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools such as Cucumber.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript; experience with API and backend automation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Helpful Experience

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with mobile or desktop application testing.
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity).
  • Relevant certifications in software testing or automation.
