QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our expanding Quality Assurance team.

Key Responsibilities 

• Execute detailed test cases for functional, UI, integration, and regression testing
• Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Work closely with Senior QA Engineers to align with testing standards and practices
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
• Participate in test planning, review sessions, and contribute to test strategy improvements
• Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test documentation
• Provide timely and clear reporting on testing progress and outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual software testing
• Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Exposure to API testing, SQL for database verification
• Basic knowledge of automation tools or a willingness to learn automation
