Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our onsite team in Dhaka. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, executing, and automating tests, as well as working closely with developers and business analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated) based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Review and analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Create and maintain test documentation, test plans, and test reports.
• Automate repetitive test scenarios using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Ensure applications meet high standards of quality, performance, and reliability before release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and defect tracking tools (Jira, etc.).
• Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite, collaborative team environment.
• Experience testing APIs (Postman, REST Assured).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
• Experience in performance and security testing.
