QA Engineer - Trieste/Cagliari (preferred)

Job Summary

QA stands for “Quality Assurance”. A Quality Assurance Engineer identifies whether the product or application developed will meet the client’s requirements or not. The main goal is to ensure that the product developed is bug-free and running efficiently. Since a QA engineer has a good understanding of designing, implementing, debugging, and defining test cases, they play a vital role in the product development life cycle and identify any issues with the product before its launch. Objectives & Responsibilities

• The individual will be responsible for writing and maintaining automated test suites.
• Willing to learn in a fast-paced environment requiring broad experience, adaptability, quick learning and excellent problem-solving skills
• Reporting on JIRA defects
• Review Requirements, specifications and technical design documents
• Analyze Test Automation and Non-regression results
• Working close to QA Manager to continuously improve and implement best practice in the team
• Support the team needs interacting with colleagues located in different time zones (US + India)

Requirements & Qualifications

Requirements for working experience between 0 and 3y:

• REST API concepts
• Expert with HTML, XML, JSON
• Comfortable with GitHub, gitlab or similar source control solutions
• Postman/newman api automation
• Strong communication in English both written and spoken

Requirements for working experience 3y+:

• Object Oriented Programming skills (JavaScript, Java or other) 
• REST API concepts
• Expert with HTML, XML, JSON
• Knowledge in Linux
• Expert at modern QA Practices
• Comfortable with GitHub, gitlab or similar source control solutions
• Postman/newman API automation or Cypress.io for FrontEnd automated tests
• Strong communication in English both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Testing or Software Quality Assurance experience
• Git flow Workflow
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with containerization
• Cucumber Gherkins hands on
