About the team

Outpayce R&D develops payment solutions for Amadeus customers. Our Orion Train team is building an issuing platform that creates virtual credit cards for Travel Agencies to pay their providers. As a trainee, you will support the team in design, test strategy, and problem tracking, gaining hands-on experience in a real QA and development environment.

What you will do

  • Help design and execute test cases and test plans.

  • Support the maintenance of non‑regression test suites.

  • Participate in manual and automated testing activities.

  • Assist with test environments and test data preparation.

  • Contribute to problem tracking and quality control tasks.

  • Collaborate with the team following Agile/Scrum practices.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.

  • Good level of English.

  • Basic understanding of software development or testing.

  • Some exposure to coding (any language; Python is a plus).

  • Interest in backend/API testing and learning automation tools.

  • Optional plus: familiarity with tools like Postman, RobotFramework, Jenkins, or Docker.

  • Team player with good communication skills and eagerness to learn in a multicultural environment.

Eligibility Criteria & Program Details

This internship program is delivered in collaboration with FundaciΓ³n Universidad Empresa (FUE) and is subject to the following requirements:

  • Be under 30 years old at the internship start date

  • Have completed the most recent academic qualification within the last 4 years

  • Not have previously participated in a program managed by FUE

  • Not have held an employment contract with Amadeus after completing their studies

  • Hold one of the following academic qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (completed) OR Master Degree (completed)

    • Degree pending only the Final Thesis, or Final Thesis plus a maximum of 9 ECTS credits

  • This opportunity is particularly suitable for recent Bachelor’s or Official Master’s graduates with limited prior internship experience.

  • Expected start date: May–June 2026. Candidates must be fully available to begin full-time during this period

  • Duration of the program: 6 months + 6 months

  • Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

  • Location: Madrid
