QA Lead

We’re looking for a QA Lead  to drive testing strategy, execution, and quality standards across all stages of development. This role is hands-on and strategic, leading the QA team technically, ensuring test coverage, and collaborating with developers to maintain high product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Lead a QA team in day-to-day testing efforts, task distribution, and progress tracking.
• Evaluate test results, identify bugs, trends, and regression risks.
• Ensure compliance with platform certification requirements.
• Build and maintain test documentation and QA pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with producers, developers, and designers to maintain quality throughout.
• Guide and mentor QA testers, fostering growth and best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA within video game development.
• Proven leadership skills, including task management and team mentorship.
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing processes.
• Proficiency in test case management and bug-tracking tools (TestRail, JIRA).
• Experience with version control and build systems (e.g., Perforce).
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience leading QA for shipped titles on multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of crash analysis, performance testing, and QA metrics.
• Scripting or familiarity with automation frameworks.
• Passion for games and deep understanding of gameplay quality.
