QA Lead

Bisly is a technology company on a mission to save our planet by making professional intelligent buildings mainstream, so we save energy and fight climate change through deployment of our patented Cloud based building automation portfolio, consisting both of software systems and hardware products. We have achieved market leader position in our home market and are actively looking to replicate that in our target markets in Germany, UK and Poland.

As the QA Lead at Bisly, you will be responsible for establishing and scaling the software quality assurance function across our building automation platforms. You will define the QA strategy, implement testing frameworks, and ensure product reliability through hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with product and release goals.
• Design and maintain test plans, traceability matrices, and quality benchmarks for software platforms (e.g., BMS, Installer App, Partner Portal).
• Implement automated and manual testing pipelines integrated with CI/CD workflows.
• Drive test coverage across functional, regression, performance, and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to embed quality into every phase of development.
• Participate in release planning and post-release reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
• Define and track QA KPIs such as defect rates, test coverage, and release readiness.
• Provide regular reports to leadership on QA performance and improvement areas.
  

• 5+ years of experience in software QA, with a strong track record of hands-on execution.
• Proven experience in building QA functions and processes from scratch.
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with embedded systems or building automation platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills for defect tracking and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
