QA Lead

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Assistant Manager / Manager – QA Test Automation with strong expertise in Python and Playwright to lead and drive end-to-end test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in automation framework design, web application testing, CI/CD integration, and team leadership within Agile environments.Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python and Playwright. Lead automation strategy for web-based and API applications. Build reusable automation libraries, utilities, and test scripts. Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high product quality. Review test cases, automation scripts, and execution reports. Mentor and guide QA automation engineers and junior team members. Analyze defects, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution. Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and reporting mechanisms. Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and release activities. 12+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation, Strong hands-on experience with Python, Extensive experience with Playwright automation framework, Experience in UI automation, API automation, and regression testing, Strong understanding of test framework architecture and design patterns, Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Experience with version control systems like Git, Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
