The Business Support Development Department (BSD) plays a crucial role in providing system support for various operations between users, clients, and Rakuten businesses. Our department provides diverse services across three main areas: DATA, Business Support/Accounting, and CRM. We strive to ensure the highest quality standards in system delivery and support while pursuing business process optimization and efficiency. Our team sets goals, monitors continuously, and evaluates for the quality at services in BSD. And deliver quality that exceeds user expectations through talent development and implementing improvement measures as needed.

Position:

Why We Hire

Our department provides services across three areas: DATA, Business Support/Accounting, and CRM. With the expansion of our system scale, we need to strengthen our quality management. We are seeking a QA Lead who can drive test process quality improvement and lead overall quality initiatives.

In this role, you will manage the QA team for Business Support/Accounting while establishing and maintaining consistent quality standards. You will also work closely with stakeholders including users, clients, and internal teams to build a quality assurance system that meets business needs.

- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Lead and develop QA team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Design and oversee quality management processes within assigned areas.

- Drive operational efficiency through quality metrics and performance standards.

- Manage UAT and operational testing of business systems.

- Collaborate with development teams to improve product quality.

- Implement and standardize testing methodologies.

- Lead quality improvement initiatives across service areas.

- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to QA team members.

- Engage with stakeholders to ensure quality aligns with business needs.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in test strategy planning, test design, and manual test execution.

- 3+ years of experience in QA team management including resource planning and performance evaluation.

- Experience leading UAT and operational testing of business systems.

- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.

- Deep understanding of accounting principles.

- Knowledge and testing experience with SAP packages.

- Deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.

- Experience in defect management and quality metrics tracking.

- Business level Japanese ability.

- Experience in WEB/application testing.

- Knowledge of E-commerce domain and business processes.

- Knowledge of Salesforce platform.

- Experience in product quality management.

- Experience with test automation and continuous integration.

- Experience in SAP system implementation and project management.
