Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across one or more applications/projects. This role will lead end-to-end testing strategy, oversee test design and execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables through robust validation processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on testing expertise with leadership capabilities to guide QA teams and continuously improve testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage QA activities across multiple applications or projects, ensuring alignment with business and delivery goals.
Define and implement comprehensive test strategies covering system, integration, and regression testing.
Oversee test design and execution to validate end-to-end system functionality.
Drive System Testing, ensuring complete functional coverage and validation of business workflows.
Lead Integration Testing to validate interactions between modules in integrated environments.
Manage Regression Testing, including both manual and automated execution of test suites to maintain system stability.
Coordinate with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test results to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Identify risks, track defects, and ensure timely resolution with stakeholders.
Promote and implement test automation strategies to improve efficiency and coverage.
Mentor QA team members and establish best practices, standards, and quality metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills
Strong experience in leading QA teams and managing testing for multiple applications/projects.
Hands-on expertise in System Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
Proven experience in test design, test execution, and defect management.
Experience with both manual and automated testing frameworks/tools.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with test automation tools and CI/CD integration.
Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
Experience in domain-specific applications (if applicable to your org).
