QA Lead Finance

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Lead – Finance to support one of our clients in the reinsurance industry, operating in a complex, international environment. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end testing activities across Finance crew squads, ensuring consistent testing practices, aligned strategies, and high-quality delivery.

The Tech & Data department (around 200 employees globally) delivers products, services, and support worldwide, operating in an Agile, matricial organization. The role sits within the Financial Production crew, which covers multiple business and technical products supporting cashflows and financial consolidation, built primarily on the DIP (Data Integration Platform) and SAP HANA technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Testing Strategy & Quality

• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end testing strategy across Finance squads, including integration and end-to-end testing standards.

• Standardize testing practices, tools, KPIs, and reporting to ensure consistent quality.

• Drive test automation and maintain automated testing suites.

• Monitor and report on testing progress and quality, aligning test status with central release management.

• Provide testing metrics and insights to management to support continuous improvement.

Planning & Coordination

• Contribute to the planning of Financial Production product evolutions.

• Define and manage a test coverage roadmap across Finance products.

• Support acceptance testing activities and collaborate with teams to create tailor-made test cases.

• Participate in iteration planning to estimate testing effort and resolve testing-related issues with stakeholders.

Facilitation & Collaboration

• Facilitate workshops with teams, stakeholders, and management.

• Work closely with Agile teams to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and testable before implementation.

Required Experience & Competencies

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Services Management, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years of experience in testing roles, with experience in heterogeneous system landscapes with complex release processes.

• Agile test management experience, including test automation.

• Team-oriented, open-minded, and collaborative approach.

• Strong test management expertise, with in-depth knowledge of tools such as ADO Test Plan or JIRA.

• ISTQB® certification or equivalent.
