QA Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support a high-profile mission critical construction project in Sunnyvale, California. This individual will lead all QA efforts across field execution, ensuring systems, materials, and workmanship meet rigorous quality standards for a technically complex environment.

This role requires deep expertise in semiconductor, data center, or other mission critical sectors, with a hands-on leadership style and the ability to work closely with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.

Job Responsibilities 

• Develop and oversee implementation of the site-specific QA/QC program
• Lead inspections, quality audits, and punchlist closeout across all MEP and CSA scope
• Work closely with construction and commissioning teams to ensure install quality meets Level 1–5 turnover readiness
• Track quality issues and work with stakeholders to resolve non-conformances
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports to ensure traceability and compliance
• Support owner and third-party inspections (including Factory Acceptance Testing, as needed)
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to approved QA/QC plans and standards
• Drive continuous improvement in field execution and quality performance

• 10+ years of experience in construction QA/QC roles, with at least 3–5 years in a manager or lead QA capacity
• Strong background in mission critical environments (e.g., semiconductor fabs, data centers, pharmaceutical, or clean manufacturing facilities)
• Deep understanding of MEP systems, life safety, and QA requirements for high-tech construction
• Proven experience managing QA documentation, punch processes, and field quality audits
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Able to collaborate cross-functionally and push work forward in fast-paced environments
