The Role

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of their web applications. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with the engineering team to test new features, identify critical bugs, and improve overall system stability. This is an ideal position for a foundational QA professional who is comfortable testing web applications and APIs and is eager to grow within a production-scale environment.

Testing & Quality Assurance
- Executes manual test cases across web applications to ensure functionality and performance.
- Identifies, documents, and tracks software bugs with high clarity and accuracy.
- Performs thorough regression testing before all scheduled releases to prevent service interruptions.
- Validates new feature deployments to ensure they meet specified requirements and brand standards.
Technical Collaboration & Documentation

- Tests APIs using tools such as Postman to ensure backend reliability.
- Collaborates directly with developers to reproduce issues and verify resolutions.
- Maintains clear, organized, and up-to-date test documentation and reporting.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the testing process within the engineering team.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 0β2 years of experience in software testing or a QA-focused role.
- Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of software testing concepts, including test case creation, the bug lifecycle, and regression testing.
- Technical Skills: Basic experience testing web applications and familiarity with API testing (Postman or similar).
- Communication: Good English communication skills; ability to write clear and detailed bug reports that are easy for engineers to interpret.
- Availability: Ability to work consistently during EST business hours to overlap with the primary engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript or other programming languages.
- Experience testing React-based applications.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON structures.
