Summary:Β 

Β We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce Functional Automation QA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our Salesforce implementation by performing thorough functional and automation testing. This role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and test accordingly.Β 

Key Responsibilities:Β 

Test Planning and Design:Β 

  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand functional requirements and create detailed automation test strategy and estimations.Β 

  • Design and develop test automation scripts for functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.Β 

  • Establish and execute automated testing strategies for web applications using tools like Katalon or Selenium.Β 

Test Execution:Β 

  • Execute test cases and document results for Salesforce applications and integrations.Β 

  • Integrate automation tool/ Framework to appropriate test management tools (JIRA or similar).Β 

  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.Β 

  • Integrate test scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Copado.Β 

Collaboration and Communication:Β 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.Β 

  • Provide regular status updates and test results to stakeholders.Β 

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Β 

Continuous Improvement:Β 

  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and updates.Β 

  • Recommend and implement improvements to the testing process and automation frameworks.Β 

Experience:Β 

  • 4–8 years of experience in test automation with hands-on experience in Katalon/Selenium/Copado Robotic Testing.Β 

  • Strong experience in building/Implementing hybrid/BDD frameworks like cucumber or Pytest BDDΒ 

  • Good experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks.Β 

  • Hands-on experience in developing test artifacts and test reporting.Β 

  • Knowledge of various programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Python.Β 

  • Experience with API testing/Automation is a plus.Β 

  • Ability to write SQL queries as needed.Β 

Skills:Β 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Β 

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Β 

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).Β 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Β 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Β
