SAP Test Lead

Your Impact

You will oversee our testing team and manage the end-to-end testing process, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products and continuous system improvements. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive test strategies, coordinating and executing detailed test plans, managing testing resources, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

You will identify and mitigate risks, provide strong leadership and mentorship to the testing team, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the testing function. Through thorough, structured, and efficient testing practices, you will directly contribute to the reliability, performance, and overall success of our technology initiatives.

About the Role

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, schedules, and traceability matrices to ensure full requirement coverage and alignment with project deliverables.
• Oversee execution of all test phases (functional, regression, integration, system, UAT), monitoring progress, managing milestones, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Analyse test outcomes and manage end-to-end defect processes, ensuring accurate logging, prioritisation, timely resolution, and clear reporting of quality insights.
• Produce Test Summary Reports and provide informed input into go/no-go release decisions, including leading post-release reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive testing tooling and automation strategy, including framework design, script development, maintenance, and coverage reporting to optimise efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements (e.g., JSOX), maintaining appropriate documentation, controls, and secure management of test data.
• Deliver transparent, real-time reporting through dashboards and stakeholder updates to provide visibility of test execution and quality status.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams while coaching and mentoring test analysts, fostering a culture of testing excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications with ISTQB or similar certification desirable.
• Strong experience leading and managing testing teams as a Test Lead or similar capacity.
• Demonstrated Test Management experience within SAP landscape.
• Strong expertise in automated testing tools, frameworks, methodologies, and end-to-end software testing best practices.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX/JSOX)
• Strong skills in test tools, specifically ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
• Proven leadership and project management capability, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage senior business leaders.
• Ability to produce clear, concise documentation and instructional materials while maintaining a strong professional presence.
