As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

PwC is looking for a SAP Test Lead to join our Cloud & Digital practice on a Fixed Term Contract basis.Β  A SAP Test Lead is overall responsible for the success of the SAP programme (project) testing efforts. This includes quality and testing advocacy, resource planning and management, and the resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.Β 

Β 

The ideal candidate would have a strong SAP technical background and 5 to 7 years proven experience in testing in SAP cloud technology enabled business transformation projects and programmes.

Β 

Qualifications / Certifications :Β 

Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirementΒ 

5 to 7 years of SAP testing experience; consulting experience beneficialΒ 

Hands-on experienceβ€―in defect logging, tracking, and verifying defectsΒ 

A thorough understanding of the full software development lifecycle is required.Β Β Β Β 

Cloud experience recommendedΒ 

SAP Certification beneficialΒ 

Proficiency in test management toolsΒ 

Experience in Agile delivery in SAP projects.

Experience required:Β 

5 to 7 years’ experience of testing SAP downstream and upstream systemsΒ 

Experience in managing and delivering quality testing outcomes for SAP implementation, upgrade or conversion programs, particularly SAP S/4HANAΒ 

Experience in designing and implementing test strategies for large SAP programmes, including automation, performance and integration testingΒ 

Functional/technical proficiency with at least 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementationsΒ 

Previous experience in a consulting environment is beneficialΒ 

Experience in Agile delivery in SAP projects.

Responsibilities of role:Β 

Develop and sign off on the testing approach and planΒ 

Take overall responsibility for the end-to-end testing scope including function testing, integration testing, stress and performance testing, regression testing and user acceptance testingΒ 

Define and manage all activities involved in the end-to-end testing process, including strategy, planning, execution, quality assessment and issue resolution within the context of each test release/deliveryΒ 

Ensure the appropriate planning, deployment and management of the test resources for each release/deliveryΒ 

Build and manage internal/external testing teams and advocate the appropriate level of qualityΒ 

Ensure the delivery of the test phases as per the agreed testing approach and on time, within budget while meeting all quality objectivesΒ 

Monitor the progress and report the result of test execution (including test effort estimation and monitoring of actual effort)Β 

Ensure the application of appropriate test measurements and metricsΒ 

Review test results to ensure that it meets the defined entry and exit criteriaΒ 

Review external supplier testing and test deliverablesΒ 

Effectively manage issues, risks and changes related to the test workstreamΒ 

Participate in programme risk and issue management.
