  As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will:  

• Implement, assess, and improve automated test cases.
• Collaborate with developers to improve the testability of their features.
• Collaborate with QA engineers for defining the scope and priorities for test automation activities.
• Research, assess, and implement technologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices for test automation.
• Set up, assess, and improve the test infrastructure and frameworks.   

What YOU bring to the team:

• Solid Python skills and experience - standard library, data structures, best practices.
• Good knowledge of OOP and OOD (design patterns).
• Extensive hands-on experience in test automation.
• Experience in using PyTest and/or other test automation frameworks.
• Experience in using continuous integration and deployment automation tools.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, macOS (at least two of them) -command line and utilities.
• Knowledge in networks – TCP/IP stack.
• Basic knowledge in virtualization technology, capabilities and limitations.
• Basic DBMS knowledge.
• Solid skills in Git.
• Experience in scripting with Bash, PowerShell.

Nice to haves:  

• Advanced Python skills: introspection, extended usage of classes, concurrency
• Advanced OS knowledge: deep understanding of storage, video, GUI, services, security, updates, life cycle.
• Experience in relevant tools and frameworks (Django,Celery, RPyC, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Allure, Vagrant, etc.)
• Experience with modern tools (including AI-powered) that help improve QA and test automation workflows.
