Responsibilities:
- Participation in testing and QA process across different stages of the software development lifecycle;
- Running manual and automated test cases for web applications;
- Conducting exploratory testing to identify potential issues beyond scripted scenarios;
- Testing results analysis: recording bugs in the tracker, preparing detailed test reports, and overseeing the bug fixing process;
- Collaborating with developers to ensure timely and efficient resolution of reported issues;
- Test automation: development and support of automated tests using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or TestNG, and creation of reusable test scripts;
- Conducting regression testing to ensure previously developed and tested software still performs after a change;
- Analyzing requirements to establish effective testing strategies and coordinate with stakeholders to clarify details if necessary;
- Working with databases: writing and optimizing SQL queries for effective test data management;
- Utilizing message brokers (like RabbitMQ) within testing scenarios, if applicable.
- Practical experience in manual and automated testing for 5+ years;
- Experience working with test documentation;
- Experience in testing Web applications;
- Knowledge and solid understanding of testing theory;
- Deep knowledge of tools and approaches for testing backend tasks, with the ability to apply them;
- Experience with automation tools (Playwright/Selenium/TestNG/RestAssured, etc.);
- Experience working with message brokers (RabbitMQ);
- Experience with Git, Kubernetes;
- Experience working with databases, SQL (ability to write SQL queries).
Nice to have:
- Understanding of performance testing principles;
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling.io);
- Experience working with web3 applications.
