Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating Leena AI’s Pre-built AI Colleagues, including Universal HR Assistant, Universal IT Assistant, and Universal Finance Assistant.

This is not a conventional QA role limited to UI and API testing. You will test AI-powered enterprise automation where the product must understand employee intent, retrieve the right knowledge, execute workflows, integrate with enterprise systems, respect access controls, and deliver reliable outcomes across multiple customer environments.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Solutions, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to ensure that our AI Colleagues are accurate, safe, reliable, enterprise-ready, and launch-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed test plans for pre-built AI Colleague use cases across HR, IT, Finance, and enterprise workflows.

  • Validate conversational flows, workflow execution, integrations, permissions, and business outcomes.

  • Design regression suites for reusable enterprise use cases.

  • Automate high-value test scenarios across UI, API, workflow, and integration layers.

  • Create AI eval datasets for common and edge-case employee queries.

  • Test response quality, hallucination risks, fallback behavior, and escalation paths.

  • Validate enterprise integrations and third-party API behavior.

  • Partner with product managers to clarify acceptance criteria and edge cases.

  • Work with engineering teams to debug defects and improve testability.

  • Collaborate with implementation and customer teams to support UAT and production issue analysis.

  • Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, release quality, and product reliability.

What we are looking for

  • 4-8 years of QA experience in enterprise SaaS, B2B software, workflow automation, ITSM, HRTech, FinTech, ERP, CRM, or similar products.

  • Strong experience testing complex enterprise workflows, not just web pages.

  • Hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, Playwright API, or similar.

  • Experience with test automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, or equivalent frameworks.

  • Good understanding of backend systems, APIs, databases, logs, queues, webhooks, and asynchronous processing.

  • Experience testing third-party integrations, including authentication, data sync, error handling, API failures, and permission models.

  • Ability to write strong test cases covering happy paths, negative cases, edge cases, role-based scenarios, and data variations.

  • Comfortable debugging issues using logs, API responses, browser dev tools, database queries, and monitoring dashboards.

  • Strong product thinking: ability to understand what the customer is trying to achieve and test for business outcome, not just technical correctness.
