Senior QA Engineer

Job Description – Finance Tester (Functional Test Automation Engineer)
 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with manual and functional testing experience, including backend and file validation.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Perform manual functional testing of finance applications and workflows.

·       Design test scenarios from business and technical requirements.

·       Convert manual functional test cases into automated test scripts.

·       Build and maintain automated regression suites.

·       Validate backend data using SQL.

Mandatory Skills & Experience – Must Have:

·       5+ years of hands-on experience in functional test automation using Selenium or Playwright frameworks.

·       Proven ability to convert manual test cases into automated scripts.

·       2+ years of experience in Functional Manual Testing.

·       3+ years of experience in Backend validation using SQL for Oracle DB.

·      2 + years of experience in Banking or Finance applications testing.

Nice to have Skills & Experience:

·       Any programming or tool creation experience.

·       Experience validating CSV, XML, JSON, or fixed width files.

·       Experience in Insurance systems
