Senior QA Engineer

A globally recognized food industry brand, on a mission to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient digital platforms for clients worldwide, is building cloud-first solutions and enhancing operational excellence through automation, monitoring, and DevOps best practices. We are helping them scale their Krakow office.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that delivered solutions meet the requirements of business stakeholders and align with technology quality standards. Together with your team, you will take shared accountability for overall performance.

Working model: Hybrid - 3 days weekly from the office

Recruitment process:

  1. A call with Motife recruiter (30 min)
  2. Online intro interview with the Leader (45 min)
  3. Technical interview (1 - 1,5h)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality of releases aligned with customer requirements.
  • Contribute to effective project planning and on-time delivery.
  • Drive a shared understanding of testing requirements and test coverage among business and technical stakeholders.
  • Define, plan, execute, and improve testing activities, including: functional testing, production verification testing, regression testing, load and performance testing, and accessibility testing.
  • Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites.
  • Expand regression test coverage with every project.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices by: researching and proposing technical improvements, identifying areas for process and technology enhancement, and promoting testability over process complexity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of proven quality engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in test scripting (C#, Python, SQL, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript).
  • Hands-on experience with web, mobile, and API test automation (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman).
  • Experience with cloud-hosted solutions and cloud-specific services.
  • Demonstrated experience in Business-Driven Development, estimation, and code reviews.
  • Ability to translate requirements into effective test plans.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently or in a team.
