Weβre looking for a Senior QA Engineer with team leadership experienceβor someone ready to step into that roleβto take ownership of quality across our mobile game development cycle. Youβll lead hands-on testing, improve QA processes, and collaborate with multiple teams across the company to ensure stable, high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Own quality: Lead QA for our mobile games, from planning and test design to execution and release validation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot: Investigate crashes, ANRs, and memory issues using Firebase Crashlytics, profiling tools, and logs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with engineering, design, product, analytics, support, and publishing to ensure every release meets our standards.
- Improve and document: Build and evolve QA processes and workflows to support a growing team and increasingly complex releases.
- Mentor and lead: Support the growth of QA team members through knowledge sharing, feedback, and leadership by example.
- Drive automation: Lead or support test automation efforts, helping us scale quality checks efficiently across builds and platforms.
- Champion the player experience: Bring a critical and player-focused eye to every feature, flow, and change.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA, ideally with experience in mobile game development.
- Track record of leading QA efforts or managing QA teams.
- Strong skills in testing methodologies, issue triaging, and release management.
- Experience with tools like ClickUp, Notion, and Firebase Crashlytics.
- Hands-on familiarity with IAPs, ad SDKs (IronSource, AppLovin), and analytics (Firebase, AppsFlyer).
- Experience identifying and analyzing memory issues and performance regressions.
- Automation experienceβeither directly building or managing pipelines, or driving automation strategy.
- Proactive, organized, and communicative, with a sense of ownership and accountability.
