We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous QA to join our quality assurance team. As a QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and report defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.
Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues;
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications;
Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and project managers to understand application functionality and testing requirements;
Document and track defects using appropriate tools, clearly describing issues and providing necessary steps to replicate them;
Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritisation discussions to ensure timely and effective testing of software releases;
Work closely with other team members to identify test cases suitable for automation and automate them;
Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices;
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing techniques and tools.
At least 5 years of previous experience as a QA;
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and testing techniques and best practices;
Proficiency in using test case management tools and defect-tracking systems (e.g: Jira, XRay);
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills;
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams;
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results;
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team;
Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
Could bring additional value:
ISTQB or other relevant certifications;
Experience in Automation.
