Our client is seeking a Senior QA Testing & Automation Consultant to support a major modernization program. This role sits within the UAT team and will focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT), requirements validation, test automation, change management, and cutover readiness across a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Lead UAT planning, coordination, execution, and governance activities
- Partner with business and technology teams to validate requirements and ensure testability
- Maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements through testing and defect resolution
- Design, develop, and oversee execution of manual and automated test cases
- Support and expand test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Cypress
- Manage change requests, impact assessments, and testing scope adjustments
- Support cutover planning, readiness assessments, defect triage, and go-live activities
- Provide testing status updates, risk reporting, and escalation management to leadership
Requirements
- Strong consulting and client-facing experience
- Proven leadership experience across User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives
- Experience translating business requirements into end-to-end testing strategies
- Strong requirements validation and business stakeholder management experience
- Experience managing change requests, impact assessments, and testing scope adjustments
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Experience working across Product, BA, QA, and Release Management teams
- Financial services experience, preferably within banking, payments, or regulated environments
