Senior Test Engineer

Havas Media is looking for a senior, talented and passionate Senior Test Engineer, to be based at our Bangalore office.

The desired candidate needs to have an enormous appetite to learn new skills,

and also, possess the ability to work independently or work as a team.

Responsibilities:

·       Develop test plans, procedures, test scenarios based on business process flows.

·       Develop test cases based on test scenarios.

·       Perform data preparation activities to support testing.

·       Execute test cases and report test outcomes.

·       Review the design and specification of features with project team

·       Comment on test related deliverables.

·       Compile and analyze test results.

·       Participate in testing meetings and requirement discussions

·       Be able to estimate testing effort and effectively prioritize to meet deadlines

·       Follow the Scrum Activities

·       Help with mentoring junior people on the team

·       Support the team as per the work requirements and meet the deadlines

·       Contribute ideas to improve our QA processes and best practices based on your extensive experience

Requirements:

·       Good knowledge of SDLC and QA practices and Hands-on exposure

·       Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred

·       4+ years of software testing experience

·       Experience in execution of Functional, End to End , System and Integration testing

·       Hands-on experience in Penetration and Performance testing

·       Experience working with web-based and mobile application

·       Experience with manual and/or automated systems (Automation Sahi Pro would be an add on )

·       Prior experience participating in requirements definition

·       Experience in creating and executing Test Plans and Test Cases

·       Experience in documenting Test results

·       Good knowledge on SCRUM Process

·       Knowledge on GA and SEO

·       Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills

·       Provide inputs to the team in order to improve the test process

·       Self- motivated, with ability to work independently

·       Handle multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines

·       Attention to detail

·       Attention to work processes and standards

·       Ability to multi-task daily and manage time efficiently

·       Experience with client server and Web based applications

·       Ability to work under pressures and achieve good results

·       Knowledge in Cloud Testing also preferred.

·       Good communication and team player

·       Keep himself/ herself up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools and the overview of the business domain

·       Added Bonus would be able to work with Atlassian products like Jira.
