About the role

Trideca is looking for a senior Test Manager with a strong automation background and a genuine interest in applying AI to modern testing practices.

This role leads end-to-end quality across native mobile platforms (iOS / Android), backend microservices (including Golang services), and APIs β€” while also driving smarter, AI-enabled ways of working across testing and release management.Β This is not about hype. Its about practical use of AI to improve coverage, speed, insight, and release confidence.

You will be responsible for;

        Test Leadership & Strategy

        • Define and lead end-to-end test strategy across mobile, backend, and integration layers
        • Embed automation-first practices into CI/CD pipelines
        • Own release readiness, quality metrics, defect trends, and risk reporting
        • Provide clarity on what to test, when to test, and how to test

        Automation & Platform Alignment

        • Ensure strong API and microservices test coverage (Golang services)
        • Align automation frameworks to Latitudes test stack and environments
        • Drive regression, integration, and system testing uplift
        • Mentor QA and automation engineers to improve maturity and consistency

        AI-Enabled Quality Uplift

        • Identify practical use cases for AI across testing (e.g. test case generation, regression optimisation, defect triage, synthetic data generation)
        • Introduce AI-assisted tooling to improve productivity and coverage
        • Embed AI into ways of working where it delivers measurable benefit
        • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to explore AI-driven quality insights
        • Establish guardrails around AI usage, especially in a regulated financial services environment

What we are looking for

        • 8+ years in QA / Test leadership roles with strong automation focus
        • Proven experience testing native mobile apps (iOS & Android)
        • Strong API and backend testing experience (microservices; Golang exposure ideal)
        • Experience with modern automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Appium, REST-assured or similar)
        • Strong understanding of CI/CD and continuous testing practices
        • Demonstrated interest and applied experience using AI in engineering or testing workflows
        • Financial services or regulated industry experience highly regarded
