We are a fast-growing creator management and digital media agency producing high-volume short-form video content. We are hiring a Short-Form Video Quality & Compliance Manager to own the final approval layer between our editing team and everything that goes live.
This is not a creative or editing role. You are the gatekeeper. Every piece of short-form video output passes through you before it is published. You approve it or you send it back β and you make sure the same mistake does not happen twice.
Duties & Responsibilities
Β Β WHAT YOU WILL OWNΒ Β
Approve or reject every post before it goes live, checking each edit against our quality standards and the rules of every platform it is posted to.
Keep platform compliance current β track policy changes across all major social platforms and update internal frameworks so the team always works to live rules.
Hold the quality bar consistently across all editors so output does not drift person to person.
Coach editors through clear, direct written feedback on rejected work so the same issues stop recurring.
Own creator feedback β triage incoming feedback on edits and convert it into tangible quality improvements.
Build the review infrastructure β design and maintain the checklists and quality logic that sit underneath the production process.Β

3+ years in a quality assurance, compliance, or video editing role.
A proven track record of holding a consistent quality bar on short-form video output.
Working knowledge of social media platform policies and how content gets restricted or removed.Skills (must-have)
Sharp eye for short-form video quality β able to spot what is below the bar instantly and articulate why.
Strong grasp of platform terms of service, with the discipline to keep that knowledge current.
Β Process and checklist design β able to turn a standard into a repeatable, scalable review system
Β Clear, direct feedback writing that improves work without damaging the editor relationship.

Package & Remuneration
R16,500 - R23,000 / month β based on experience
Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses tied to quality outcomes
