Software QA Analyst Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst to join our growing product team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in web and mobile application testing, hands-on expertise in automation and regression testing, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using JIRA.

You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, performance, and reliability across all releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Execute automation testing frameworks and maintain test suites
• Test web applications (responsive) and mobile apps (iOS & Android)
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Ensure release readiness and production quality

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in QA for web and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar)
• Experience with regression and performance testing
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong experience using JIRA for defect tracking and sprint management
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter or similar)
• Exposure to cloud environments
• ISTQB Certification (a plus)
