About the Role:
As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our software products by executing various test cases and helping to identify defects. Your focus will be on more diverse testing scenarios, improving test documentation, and providing insights to enhance our quality assurance processes. We are looking for self-motivated and passionate professional with a strong aptitude for test automation.
Responsibilities:
- The Software Quality Analyst will participate in technical reviews and provide feedback on requirements, design documents & specifications, and Initiatives from a Quality Engineering and testing perspective.
- Assist in test case design and modification and participate in Test Plan development
- Participate in creating Test Strategies that define the testing scope and approach for projects
- Assist in developing and defining Test Data requirements to execute defined test strategies.
- Creation of QE deliverables participating as a part of the Agile Scrum Team
- Proactively determine more efficient test approaches to increase quality and reduce overall QE costs
- Develop end-to-end test plans with other teams to ensure complete system testing coverage
- Develop and execute a variety of test cases, including functional, regression, and smoke tests.
- Document and report software bugs with detailed steps to reproduce.
- Conduct initial root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with development team to resolve identified issues.
- Participate in Escaped Defect Analysis process and maintain all quality data
- Independent QE thought leadership to drive evolving QE processes
- Identify meaningful gaps in the QE process on an on-going bases that will drive measurable improvements in QE testing effectiveness and reduced defects into UAT and Production
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes.
- Participate in yearly team objective progress

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in a Computer Sciences or related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years in testing activitiesΒ
- Able to work independently with direction from Sr. QE Analysts
- Working in Agile Scrum and DevOps environments representing QE
- Experience in test automation and integration with CI/CD build integration systems is required.
- Well-versed with Tricentis TOSCA, with a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience
- Technical Basics: Understanding basic software architecture and functions.
- Nice to have multi-disciplined technical background, (Networking, Application Development, SQL DB)
- Strong system troubleshooting and analysis skills required to solve technical problemsΒ
- Strong verbal and written communication, particularly in crafting messages and status reports to Senior Management and Business Partners. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations
- Strong Collaboration: Enhanced teamwork skills for effective communication with developers and business analysts
- Intermediate Test Case Execution: Competence in executing various types of tests.
- Bug Reporting and Tracking: Proficiency with tools like JIRA, detailed reporting.
- Basic Root Cause Analysis: Initial analysis of defects to determine their origins.
- Documentation Skills: Preparing and maintaining comprehensive test documents.
- Time Management: Prioritization and efficient task completion.
This position is global in nature and requires interactions with multinational team members. The successful candidate must be able to work comfortably across numerous time zones and amongst culturally diverse teams.
