Software Tester

Our client is looking for a Software Tester (Manual and Automation) to join their dynamic and growing technology environment based in Centurion.

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing to ensure that functionality, usability, and performance standards are met
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports
• Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality improvements
• Recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency
• Stay up to date with testing tools, trends, and best practices

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or a related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in software testing (manual and automation)
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, jUnit, or TestNG
• Familiarity with version control and bug tracking systems
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and quality
