The Opportunity: 
 

We’re looking for an Automation QA Engineer to help us ensure the highest quality across our Sportsbook Platform. You’ll develop and maintain automated systems and test scripts for our trading tools, data feed integrations, and front-end UI. Your work will directly impact the user experience and support the delivery of high-performance, scalable solutions that drive our Sportsbook strategy forward. 

Role Overview: 

Reporting to the Head of Sportsbook and Platform QA, you’ll lead the design, execution, and optimisation of automated testing across the Sportsbook ecosystem. You’ll work within a cross-functional Agile team, collaborating with Developers, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders across the business to ensure new features and third-party integrations meet business expectations and maintain platform stability. You’ll also serve as an internal expert on automation technologies and best practices, helping to evolve our QA capabilities and support the handover to operational teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Build and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for end-to-end testing of the Sportsbook platform. 

• Execute automated tests to verify the functionality, performance, and accuracy of front-end and back-end components. 

• Investigate and resolve test failures by identifying root causes and collaborating with developers on fixes. 

• Continuously improve automation coverage, speed, and reliability to support faster, more efficient releases. 

• Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and QA peers to ensure testability and alignment with business goals. 

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and integrate automation into the software delivery lifecycle. 

• Maintain clear documentation and report test results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Test integrations with 3rd party tools and data feeds to ensure seamless functionality and data accuracy. 

• Identify gaps and propose improvements to enhance QA processes and automation strategies across the team. 

This could be ‘you’ if you can demonstrate:
 

• Strong experience in QA automation for web or mobile applications 

• Proficiency with tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks 

• Programming skills in Java, Python, or other test automation languages 

• Experience testing complex systems — ideally in Sportsbook, betting, or trading platforms 

• Solid understanding of data feeds, trading tools, and 3rd party integrations 

• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent attention to detail and structured thinking 

• Effective communication skills — both technical and plain English 

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with global, distributed teams 

• Flexibility to work across time zones and travel occasionally 

• A genuine passion for sports betting and a desire to shape high-performance products

We’re hiring for this role within the EU, and depending on your location, we can offer fully remote, hybrid, or office-based working arrangements.
