Whatβs the position?
We're seeking detail-oriented Sportsbook QA Analyst to join our dedicated Quality Assurance team within the Sportsbook division. As a Sportsbook QA Analyst, you'll be part of a team solely focused on monitoring our sports betting application to ensure everything functions correctly and all content is accurate and appropriate. This role goes beyond simply following checklists β you'll develop a keen eye for quality, anticipate potential issues before they affect customers, and intuitively understand what makes an exceptional betting experience. You'll need to think like our customers, recognize patterns that indicate potential problems, and proactively identify issues that might be missed by standard procedures. Working in a team providing coverage which includes evenings and weekends, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our customer experience while developing the quality instincts to ensure youβre constantly on the top of your game.
Key Responsibilities
Continuously monitor the app to ensure all content is available, accurate, and properly displayed
Produce and distribute a comprehensive daily report that highlights all identified issues, their customer impact, and the specific actions determined to resolve them
Include creative recommendations for improvements in daily reports
Think like a customer to identify pain points in the customer journey that might not be captured in checklists
Follow comprehensive checklists while also being proactive about what should be checked
Develop specialized knowledge of particular sports or betting features to enhance testing depth
Proactively identify opportunities to improve app functionality, user experience, and testing processes instead of just following established procedures
Regularly suggest innovations and improvements to existing processes and customer experience
Contribute ideas for new features or enhancements based on testing experience and customer perspective
Verify that content plans created by the planning team are being correctly implemented
Challenge content plans when appropriate, considering both customer experience and company strategy
Escalate issues or discrepancies to appropriate teams
Connect seemingly unrelated issues to identify potential systemic problems
Provide increased monitoring during key sporting events and after product releases
Assist in signing off on incident channels after verifying that issues have been resolved
Conduct thorough checks including bet placement, deposits, withdrawals, and customer communications
What We Are Looking For
Sharp attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and potential issues
Understanding of sports betting products and customer experience
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify potential problems
Comfortable working with checklists while also thinking critically beyond them
Excellent written communication skills for clear documentation and reporting
Willingness to work weekends and late nights regularly as part of the normal schedule
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, especially during major sporting events
Knowledge of company strategy and how it should be reflected in the app content
Ability to think like a customer and anticipate their expectations
Pattern recognition skills to identify recurring issues or emerging problems
Passion for creating exceptional digital experiences
Ability to learn and adapt to new betting products and features quickly
